Getting There

Located in the Congress Heights neighborhood, you’ll find CareFirst Arena just a few short miles from downtown DC and easily accessible via Metro, rideshare, bicycle or car.

By Metro: We strongly encourage visitors to use public transportation when visiting CareFirst Arena. The Arena is located directly adjacent to the Congress Heights Metro Station on the Green Line. The Arena is a 3-minute walk from the station. Follow directional signage through the Kiss & Ride parking lot, alongside the Blue Lot and turn right on Oak Dr. SE.

Visit WMATA.com or call (202) 637-7000 for maps, schedules and more information on traveling by metro or bus.

By Bicycle: Bicycle racks are available outside of the Arena. The nearest Capital Bikeshare station is located at the Congress Heights Metro Station, a 3-minute walk from the Arena.

By Car: CareFirst Arena is easily accessible from I-295, I-395, and the Capital Beltway. If you’re arriving via rideshare, come to the designated rideshare drop-off/pick up area near the Arena box office on Oak Drive. Either way, Google Maps can help get you here.

Parking: Limited paid on-site parking is available in the Green Lot (at Malcolm X Ave. & 8th St. SE) and the parking garage behind the Arena. Pricing varies by event.
